MediaLock Business Rules

The following are some high level business rules related to enabling content security that are possible with Tailgate Video's MediaLock

• Expiration After First Use. This business rule specifies the length of time (in hours) a license is valid after the first time the license is used. For example, you can set a license to expire 24 hours after a consumer begins to play the Windows Media file.
• Expiration On Store. This right specifies the length of time (in hours) a license is valid after the first time the license is stored on the consumer's computer. For example, you can set a license to expire 72 hours after it is stored.
• Transfer to Portable Device. This right specifies whether the user can transfer the content from the PC to a portable device for playback. A related right specifies how many times the user can transfer the content to such portable devices.
